Change Your Name and Appearance in Lumi Master

Player names, Lumi nicknames and appearance use different controls. On Global, edit the player name from the profile and use Outfit for Body Type and Skin Tone. Check the cost and remaining changes before saving.

01

Change the player's name

On Global, the first player-name change is free and name changes have a 24-hour cooldown. Check the confirmation screen for repeat-change costs and the current cooldown.

  1. Tap your player avatar to open the player profile.
  2. Use the small edit control beside the player name to open Modify Name.
  3. Enter the intended spelling and read the displayed cost and any cooldown.
  4. Tap Confirm, then check that the profile shows the new name.
02

Change body type and skin tone

On Global, Outfit has separate Body Type and Skin Tone selectors and a Changes Remaining counter. Preview the model and check the remaining changes before confirming.

  1. Open the player profile and its Outfit control.
  2. Find Body Type and Skin Tone in the appearance screen.
  3. Preview the choice and read the remaining changes or cost before saving.
  4. Use Confirm, then check the player preview.
03

Give a Lumi a nickname

On Global, tap a Lumi profile avatar to gain heart points and raise affinity. Its nickname can be changed when the affinity requirement is met.

Open the intended Lumi, check its affinity and nickname control, and follow the requirement shown on that individual.

04

Avatar, outfit and Starcolor are different

A player portrait identifies your profile, while Body Type and Skin Tone change the explorer model. Check each portrait and outfit option for its unlock requirements.

Starcolor changes a Lumi appearance. Use the card and Prism Mirror steps to change a Lumi color.

If an edit control is missing or greyed out

Identify whether you are editing the player name, a Lumi nickname, the explorer model or a Lumi color. Each has its own controls.

Read the level, affinity, cooldown, remaining-change and cost messages on that screen. Check these before saving, especially after a version update.
