Invites, Creator Codes and Account Linking Explained
An invitation, a gift code, a Creator Code and account linking do different jobs. Identify which one you have, then follow its matching input route and eligibility rules.
Identify the code or binding type
Gift codes, invitation links, Creator Codes and login linking have different input routes. Use the matching menu or event instructions for the type you received.

Link a login account through User Center
On Global, open Settings → User Center to link a third-party account. Choose a provider available on your screen and check its account-linking and unlinking rules.
- Record the current character's UID and server so you can identify the correct progress.
- Open Settings, then User Center.
- Choose an available third-party account-linking option and follow its login or verification prompts.
- Return to User Center and check the displayed link status. Confirm that the UID and character still match your intended account.
Participate in the right invitation
If you receive a link, preserve the complete link rather than extracting a number and treating it as a gift code. If the promotion supplies a code, use the input destination named by that promotion.
Before taking part, compare region, server, start and end dates, whether new or existing accounts qualify, and the required tasks. Completing account linking alone does not establish that an invitation reward has been earned.
- Read the original promotion and identify the inviter and the participant's role.
- Follow its invitation link or stated code-entry route.
- Check that the promotion recognizes the intended character or invitation relationship.
- Complete its displayed tasks and use the reward-claim method shown in that promotion.
Check Creator Code and friend-binding rules
Use the input route named in the Creator Code promotion. Check the reward conditions, deadline and whether the code can be replaced.
For Japan friend invitations or friend binding, follow the matching event screen and rules. If the input control is absent, check the event eligibility or contact support.
When linking or rewards do not work
For an account-linking error, note the provider, UID, server and exact error, then contact official customer service.
For invitation rewards, check whether the relationship is recognized, the tasks are complete and the claim period is open. For gift codes, check expiry and region.
