Learn From Official Team Presets
The recorded presets show recurring ideas: burn pressure, critical bursts, weather, entry effects, and stat handoff. Use them to understand a plan before copying names.
Find the team's shared idea
Open a preset and identify its theme, trainer skill, and three members. The theme tells you what the team is trying to build or exploit during a fight.
For example, an entry-rotation group values switching effects; a burn group values applying and benefiting from that status.
Read each member's job
Follow the member links and compare trait and skills. Ask what each member contributes to the central plan and what matchup it covers.
This is more useful than copying a name into an unrelated team. A member can be strong in its preset because another member supplies its setup.
Adapt rather than duplicate
Use your available Lumi and the next encounter to preserve the preset's underlying job: status support, weather support, switch pressure, or a finisher.
When a roster member is not available in the Lumidex yet, the lineup keeps the source member as a label rather than inventing a profile.
Keep the plan, not just the names
Identify what the recorded group is trying to create: a status, weather, entry effect, rotation, or finishing window. That shared aim explains why a member belongs there more clearly than its name alone.
If you do not own a listed member, choose a replacement after checking its type, trait, and skill costs. The replacement should preserve a needed job without creating a repeated weakness for the other two slots.
